Tirupati: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Board chairman P Chalapati Rao, on Sunday, said the board of trustees expressed serious concern over the conditions prevailing in various kalyanamandapams (marriage halls) across the state.
A four-member committee, headed by MP Ganga Reddy, was constituted to review the functioning of the kalyanamandapams and to check whether they are useful to the society or not. It is also decided to chalk out new strategies to better the services at the kalyanamandams, he said.
