Rice Pearls: possess a surface, which is a cross between smooth, and rough with a deft touch up. Its shape is an elongated one, which is something akin to a group of rice, brought under one roof and enveloped by a bubble.

Seed Pearls: is a mix of natural and cultured and has a shape, which is symmetrical. Its middle portion is twisted and the same leads to bifurcation of two or three sets within a group mop up.

Round Pearls: has a shape, which is round in nature and is referred to as a cultured pearl.

Half-round pearls: possess a shape, which is round at one end and flat at the other end.

Oval Pearls: comes in a shape, which is oval and bears a striking resemblance to a potato.
