Citrine – A Gemstone Which Has a Presence of its Own

Gemstones are dime a dozen, some are of glamour kind like diamond or topaz, then there are some which are of dazzling kind with a whole lot of history behind it like pearl and then there are some which are neither of glamour or dazzle kind but nevertheless ones which have a presence of its own. One such gemstone is Citrine, a gemstone that is termed as affordable due to its durableness and ease of availability. This particular feature makes it a rather popular choice. This is a false picture since both Topaz and Citrine are two distinct gemstones though they often have similar colours. The gemstone is termed as a quartz crystal whose colour swings from pale yellow to deep amber to orange brown to gold. The most popular one of all these colours has been the dark orange colour. However the gemstone comes in most of the cases in juicy lemon colour.
